Only H2 headings show up. Anything beyond that like H3, H4 does not show up. Any idea?
I use a Genesis based theme.
Here’s an example of what it looks like if I try to include more than H2 headings. https://www.fromlusttilldawn.com/frequently-asked-questions-on-instagram/
Answer I received on an old forum by shazahm1 “Sorry, I do not know what could be causing this. It appears the spots in the TOC are being created but not populated.
Could you please open a new ticket in our support forum?
In order to debug this I will need both a WP admin login and a FTP login to your site. The details can be posted here as a private reply.
I logged in and I was able to determine the cause of the bug and corrected it on your site.
Basically when creating the TOC the global settings options (the Settings : Table of Content admin page) were used for the when building the TOC item hierarchy instead of the headers set on the post settings.
In your case on the global settings you had only H2 enabled while on the post you had H2, H3 and H4 enabled. This caused only the H2 headers to be displayed in the TOC while leaving a blank space for the H3 and H4 headers.
The next update to ezTOC will include the fix I applied to you site so you will be able to update when it is released.
Apologies for the trouble!
