Hi, Steven –
Now that I have populated my database with names and emails, I am getting reports of increased spam for some people from having their email so exposed.
Is there a way to hide emails a bit with HTML code like this:
I’ve tried it and the coding gets stripped off when I save. Any thoughts?
“Hiding” emil behind text will not prevent bots from scraping email … it only makes it more difficult to users to get at the email address. With that said, yes, I do have a solution. It is the ROT13 Email Encryption extension. It’s plug and plug, just install and activate.
I hope that helps!
