GuestHello, I have nearly 1,400 listings, however, I cannot edit them under the Manage screen. They do not appear.
The page says that 1,392 are there, but it also says 0 of 0 records are shown. I need to be able to view and edit them.
I have the latest version of WordPress (3.7) and Connections.
Any ideas as to what may be happening? Thank you.

When on the Connections : Manage admin page, click the
All
link in the upper left. The in the drop downs right below that, make sure they are all set to
Show All xxxxx
and then click theFilter
button.That should do it.

ParticipantI can see my listings under manage but I cannot view my listings on my website when I select view. So I go to manage, select the listing that select view and its simply returns to the manage page. What am I missing?

Did you add a page for the directory and set it as the directory home page? Step 4 in the QuickStart.
03/24/2015 at 12:34 pm #324360reyes
ParticipantYes, I did complete Step 4 as outlined in QuickStart. What I am referring to is that when I go to Manage in Admin, I do see my listings. However, when I select “View” (while still in Manage) I assumed that I would be directed to that directory home page set up in Step #4 but it just refreshes the Manage page in Admin. Am I suppose to be redirected when I select “View” on any listing?
Also, when I add new listings they are listed in the order entered. Shouldn’t new listings be in alphabetical order?
Thanks.

re: Am I suppose to be redirected when I select “View” on any listing?
Yes, that should happen. But did you set it as the Directory Home Page on the Connections : Settings admin page and is that page public? Not a draft or preview of that page?re: when I add new listings they are listed in the order entered. Shouldn’t new listings be in alphabetical order?
Yes, the default results should be sorted by lastname/org name. Unless changed by the order_by shortcode option. What is the exact shortcode you are using?03/24/2015 at 6:02 pm #324418reyes
Participant1) Yes, the directory homepage is published and public (I set this in WP Dashboard- Admin-Pages). But when I still go to I go to Manage in Connections (I do see my listings) and select “View” (while still in Manage) it still just refreshes the Manage page in Connections. Am I suppose to be redirected when I select “View” on any listing to my directory homepage? What am I missing?
2) I noticed that I am not using any shortcode for the order_by shortcode option. My data set is too small so far so I will table this until I can get get a bigger data set for my listings. This simply may not be a problem just inexperience. Thanks.

re: Am I suppose to be redirected when I select “View” on any listing to my directory homepage? What am I missing?
I’m guessing you may have overlooked my previous answer… “Yes, that should happen.” or maybe I wasn’t clear, apologies… Yes the view link should link to the entry in the frontend to the page set as the directory home page. What is the URL of the “View” link?
re: My data set is too small so far so I will table this until I can get get a bigger data set for my listings.
Should be even easier to notice if the entries are sorting by lastname/org name. Dataset size wouldn’t change that.03/24/2015 at 6:34 pm #324422reyes
