    I figured it out. This will only affect those where the server is still on PHP 5.2. This is why I could not duplicate the issue. I’ll be releasing version 0.8.1 shortly.

    Thanks for the login! I tested the fix on your site and all is well, Connections activated without issue.

    We thank you for the great job! Problem happens… (or something like that…)
    I am removing the temporary access, but when you need a “sandbox”, just send an email I will restore it.

    Steven,
    Shall I wait for your release 0.8.1 and just activate the plugin ? Would that be enough? I had serious problems restoring my website. So give me more instructions I do not want more problems, thanks

    Since Connections is currently not active, delete it and then re-install it. WordPress.org will install the 0.8.1 version. After it installs, you should be able to activate it normally.

    Tip, if the plugin causes an error upon activation, login to your site with FTP and go to the ../wp-content/plugins/ folder and delete the plugin. In the case of Connections, the folder would have been named connections. Deleting it would have restored you site in working order minus Connections. No need to go thru the trouble of restoring backups.
