    Hi, My new listings have stopped showing up, and I am not sure what’s going on.

    Here’s an example of one of the latest listings: http://tendri.ng/business/directory/name/clacton-small-business-link/

    It is supposed to be showing up in the directory on this page, but it’s not: http://tendri.ng/business/meetup/

    Is the Clacton Small Business Link entry set as public? What is the eact shortcode you are using? Are you using any type of caching plugins? If you are, make sure you clear the page cache.

    I have recently moved the site to GetFlywheel Hosting.

    I have Flushed the Cache from within Flywheel.

    The Clacton Small Business Link entry is set as public.

    The code is:

    I see you are using id shortcode option. Are you adding the id of the new entries as you add them? If you are not, they will not be shown.

    Sorry, I forgot to mention, the ID for Clacton Small Business Link is 94

    94 has been added to the list, but still not showing.

    Ok, as an experiment, could you remove an ID that you know is showing. The purpose would be to see if the WordPress Shortcode API has a text limit on shortcode options.

    Another item I just noticed. The id option is using fancy quotes instead of straight quotes. WordPress doesn’t support the use of fancy quotes in the shortcode. Try this one, I removed the fancy quotes:

    I thought I replied, but it’s not showing

    I followed you advice, removed the first ID and it removed the Listing.

    Changed to straight quotes, but 94 still not showing.

    Even forgetting the shortcode for a minute, new listings just don’t work:

    Hi Steven,

    Just to let you know this problem resolved itself…

    Maybe I deactivated a plugin or it was a WordPress update.

    All great now

    Great to hear … I wonder if it was a caching plugin such as W3TC or such… after adding entries, you would need to flush the page cache.
