I can following most but obviously not all the instruction for the shortcodes and activation, so I need some help.

In the support documentation I see codes for the default setting for Tile Plus and as a result I am confused. I don’t see many of the fields in the card, specifically one field I’m interested in does not show on the card or the online record of the “connection member”; e-mail address.

If I understand the default is for e-mail to be displayed. I was able to turn on the address, but there is no e-mail, bio, or notes. Please take the scales off my eyes so I may get this ask completed.

The defaults for the shortcodes listed for the Tile Plus template, you do not seed to add them to the shortcode, unless you want to change the default.

The email addresses are displayed by default. I see you purchased the Pro Pack and have installed and activated the Contact extension… If you want the email addresses to be publically shown, you should disable this extension as it will hide them so users will use the contact rather than exposing the email addresses publically.

In Tile Plus, the bio and notes will only be displayed on the profile/detail view of the template (when you click on the entry name on the Tile). I believe these are off by default, so you would have to turn them on.

I deactivated Connections; only after I read the description of the product did I say, “I could done this myself”…. sorry….. but it didn’t work though. I still can’t view the e-mail in the card or in the “member’s” record. Other ideas?

You mean you deactivated the “Contact” extension correct? It is possible that the theme or another plugin is hiding them. I would need a temp admin account so I could have a closer look.

The email address are set to public or private and not unlisted, correct?

The email address are shown by default in Tile Plus. My suggestion. Delete the entire shortcode and manually type just [connections] and see if it works.

The cMap template and the Market template. I recommend the cMap template for one big reason. It can be completely configured via the template customizer, no messing with the shortcodes. The next update to Tile Plus will implement the Template Customizer too until then, I think cMap is your best option.

I took a look… the Contact extension was still activate. After I deactivated it, the email addresses displayed as they should.

I did remove a few of the unnecessary shortcode options… if is the default, there’s not need to add it. You only add the option if you want to change it from the default.
