ParticipantHi Steve
The hyperlink for the name of the person is currently switched on but not working – it actually acts the same as the “read more” link and opens up the page.
The only way we can figure sending a client to the individual page is by sending a url which we can get via the back office is we click “show entry”.
I’ve attached a link to show you what we have built with your plugin. We think your plugin is brilliant – and I have reviewed it.

The page is protected so I can’t see it… that said, it appears you are using Excerpt Plus, is that correct? If that is the case, it is working as designed assuming I correctly understand the issue. You can change this behavior. Read this FAQ to learn how.
Hope that helps!
PS/ Thanks for the review!

ParticipantBrilliant – sorted.
The only other issue is that the “back to directory” link is working as a simple back button. Any ideas how we can resolve this as it is a neat feature we’d like to use.
Thanks again
Mark

Yeah, I did see the password but I did not see anyway of using it.
The back to directory link… how else should it work?

ParticipantIf you have opened up an e-mail for example and clicked on a name and went to the page of Mr Smith, clicking “back to directory” does not take you to the directory – it takes you back to the previous page you were visiting.

Ok, yes, I know what you mean. There really not a “fix” because back to directory is really fuzzy/dynamic. Suppose you having multiple pages each with their own directory. Users do this all the time by splitting up categories to create “unique” directories on separate pages. I can not create a static link because back to directory could mean many things. The only solution I’ve been able to come up with is tying it to the browser back button. This is effective since most of the time that is how users will be browsing. It’s not perfect in all uses cases but it is the only solution I’ve been able to come up with.

ParticipantThat’s cool. It’s not a major issue – just a neat feature. We are running two directories as well so would make no sense now you have mentioned it!
Thanks for your help. Really appreciate the speedy response.
Have a good weekend.
Cheers
