    It would be nice to have the ability to do multiple directories. For instance, I would like to do one directory for members of our organization and a separate directory for business partners of our organization.

    This is already quite doable. Many users do this, here’s one example. Sorry that I do not have a link to his site to show you.

    You can do this by separating categories to create virtual directories. This FAQ is for cMap but it applies to all templates which feature user category filtering.
