ParticipantI would like to be able to search by category, city and/or zip code. Are multiple search criteria able to be achieved without special configuration from you? If so, how do I set that up?

Well, there are two ways to achieve this. The core Connections does support this yes. So you would require either the add-on that is already coded by me to take advantage of those features or code up a solution yourself. How to do the later is not something I can really give step by steps instructions on. But if that is something you’d like to tackle. The support query variables can be found in the
class.retrieve.php
file in theentries()
method. You would need to develop a form to output the search fields and send them as a query string so Connections can filter the results by the chosen values.Hope this helps!

ParticipantThank you. We purchased the pro pack so we have all of the add ons. Could you please tell me which one I need to install in order to use multiple search criteria?
Thank you.

You do not have this addon because it is beta and has not been released to anyone other than those who have paid for me to install and configure it for them. This addon as it is will likely never be released, rather, it may be, integrated with templates as options to enhance their current search functionality. These features will not be integrated until I have a user interface developed so it can be configured easily via point and click. This add on in its present form is stable and many use it on their live production sites but because it is more complex to setup, I only sell it as individual service when requested, not part of the pro packs. This service include include installation and configuration.

I should add… if you want it without me installing and configuring it, I would be more than happy to simply send it your way with a sample shortcode used for its, configuration.

ParticipantThank you Steven, if you will send it my way with a sample I will give it a try. If I can’t get it to work, then I’ll request your assistance with configuration.

I just sent it with a sample shortcode and some additional instructions. Let me know if you do not receive it.
