Participantyou wrote here http://connections-pro.com/documentation/plugin/shortcodes/shortcode-connections/:
NOTE: ... You do not add the Connections shortcode to the page multiple times with different attributes. ...so my wish is to change it, so I can have several lists of contacts in one page/post, several shortcodes
[connections]with different attributes.05/24/2013 at 11:13 pm #260876Steven Zahm
KeymasterOh, I understand. Yes; you can add the shortcode on the same page with different attributes.
What users were doing was adding the shortcode to the page multiple times each with a different attribute but expectioning only one result list using all the attributes instead of the list multiple times with different attributes. Does that make sense.
What you want to do will work.

ParticipantYes it works, but there might be here another issue why its not working properly and why I had posted here my wish. If there is no result out of shortcode, plugin gives all the records. fe. if there is no record in say [connections category_in='14,25'] the output if full database. In this case it should return none. Still have the older version 0.7.6.4.

There was a bug with category_in in which it would return all results as you’re experiencing. This was fixed in 0.7.6.6.
