    Steve,

    I have the Link extension installed and I noticed that on a mobile device (ipad) I am not able to view the ‘edit entry’ link.

    Please take a look at this page using a mobile device (preferably ipad): http://leadershiptriangle.com/alumni-directory/name/wendy-ann/

    On my mac, I can see ‘edit entry’ but not using the ipad.

    Is there a setting that I’m missing?

    So, I realize this has nothing to do with the Link Extension. I’m just not able to view ‘edit entry’ on a members profile page using an ipad.

    Are you logged in the site when using the iPad? The link will not display is you are not logged in.

    Yes, I am logged in. If you look at the site on the desktop you’ll see that the link displays but on an ipad it doesn’t.

    Actually I will not see the edit link with that login… that is only the password that lets the page be seen to those that know the password. To see the edit link logion to your site:

    http://leadershiptriangle.com/wp-login.php

    Now visit the page, you should see the edit link.

    Is there a way to create a login on the site without using the wordpress login to edit your entry? I don’t want users to view the wordpress login.

    Better yet, let users edit their entry without logging in at all?

    Sorry, not possible… then anyone could edit any entry.

    Sure, there are many good free plugins that add frontend login features to WordPress. I provide a very basic option here.

    What if I didn’t care if anyone can edit somebody else’s entry? Is there something I can do to bypass checking for a login? I just want to add the edit entry link after a user clicks on a name.

    If I could create the edit entry url after a user clicks on the name that would be great! Then could set edit entry to true?
