I’ve created a member list for my client’s site. I’ve selected the BIO template for the individual and would like to just show a list of names for the listing page. However, when I select the names list, all I see is the member’s name when I click into their “profile.” My client doesn’t want to see all the member bio’s on the first member list page. Does that make sense?
Go to the Connections : Templates admin page.
All template type, activate the Names template,
Under both the
Organization template types, active the Bio Entry Card template.
Lastly, go to the Connections : Settings admin page and enable the Single Entry option under the Display tab.
If you used the
template shortcode option, make sure to remove it for this to work.
That should get you what you’re looking for.
You could link directly to the View All page by putting that in the name instead of the page. Then when a user clicks on the name link they be shown the entry in the Bio Entry Card.
Hope that helps!
