ParticipantHello,
The map of a business at the bottom of the cMap template is not displaying on my directory.
View here: http://sylvierifenburgh.com/hear/Directory/
What am I doing wrong?
Also, is it possible to create multiple search option i.e. city and type of services/providers? Right now the directory’s categories are all service related but I would like to implement a location search as well. Is this possible?
One more thing, I can see in the Connections dashboard (system) that my plugin is not set to multisite. What does multisite do and how do I turn it on?
Thanks! I love your plugin!
Sylvie

On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab, is the Google Maps API option not checked? If it isn’t please try checking it and then click save changes.
Users can search within categories by first choosing a category and then search. There is no location based search yet, sorry.
Multisite is a WordPress feature to run multiple websites from a single WordPress installation. Read more here.

ParticipantI just checked and on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab, the Google Maps API option is checked. Anything else might be the problem?
Thanks!

Can I get a temp admin account so I can take a closer look? Details can be posted here as a private reply.

ParticipantI figured it out! I had installed “Comprehensive Google Map Plugin” and it was interfering with the cMap. I removed the plugin and the cMap is now working.
Thanks!

that’s great to hear. I’ll have to log that as a plugin conflict. Did you install another map plugin as an alternative that worked without conflicting?

ParticipantNo, I didn’t install an alternative. I’m too happy that the map function is working to gamble on it disappearing again. Plus, it was not a must-have plugin, the business doesn’t have an address yet :-).
Thanks,
