Thank you for your response.
I checked and I thought that the GD package was installed. Below is a copy/paste from the Connections>Dashboard. It shows GD Version: 2.1.1-dev. Is that a problem?

Well, it does appear the GD is installed.
Do you have any other plugins that manipulate images in any way? What theme are you using? My next best guess is that another plugin is hooking into the core WordPress

It was another plugin.
I have the “Media Features” plugin by lightningspirit installed and if I deactivate that plugin then the Connections logos show without any issues.04/01/2015 at 1:09 pm #330213
