ParticipantHi,
I’m having a problem displaying logos on my site – http://cymbrisbane.org.au/directory/. Logos are are often cropped to fill the space, eg see the logo at Edmund Rice, Frassati, NET Ministries.
I have tried changing the Connections settings to each of the 4 options in ‘crop mode’ but always get the same result. The logo displays okay in the actual entry and in the backend, the issue seems to just be in the directory list. I’ve tried manually resizing some to max width 300 but still with same result (but lower quality image).
This seems to be a new issue I think, I’m pretty sure the logos were displaying properly in the past but I couldn’t be sure, I haven’t edited this page for a few months.
I am using ‘Peace’ theme by BoxyStudio and I have installed the following Connections plugins: Authored, CSV, Form, Link, Market-Template, ROT13, SiteShot, Widgets.
Can you please advise how to ensure the complete logo will display.
Thanks, Luke

What is the exact shortcode you are using?

Well, this does not make much sense. The logos should be cropped the same way that they are on there detail/profile page. They should also be the same size. The only way I can see this happening is if you created a template override file for the Market template’s
card.php
orcard-single.php
file. Did you perhaps do that?06/24/2015 at 7:19 am #338388Luke Plant
GuestComing back to this after a few weeks… I have not created any override files (I’m not even sure how to do that).
I have dealt with the issue by manually editing the logos to be 225px x 150px and re-uploading them. It’s more timeconsuming but it works for now.

Well, if the template is unaltered and that is the exact shortcode you are using then the logo size should be the size set in for the Logo on the Connections : Settings under the Images tab for both the list and entry profile page. I will need a temp admin login so I could investigate further. You can send the login details via the Contact link at the bottom of the page. PLease paste a link to this forum thread so I can relate the two. Thanks!

I have not heard back… back I do have another question, do you have SiteShot installed? If you do, what version? If it is not the current version of 1.3, you should update it or if you are not using it, deactivate it. Older versions had a bug would could cause a cropping issue.
