GuestI recently took over this website and moved it to a new server. Everything else is working except for the Connections listings. I get this error message:
include(/home/content/84/8265384/html/wp-content/plugins/connections/templates/card-bio/template.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ccabp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/inc.shortcodes.php on line 377
Advice, please? Thanks!

Which version of Connections do you have installed? If it is not the latest, 0.7.9.1, please update. After you update, visit the Connections : Templates admin page. Doing just that should fix things back up. If you still get the error, then on the Connections : Templates admin page activate any random template and then reactivate the Default template. That will sure take care of the issue.
Hope that helps! Please let me know.

The new version of Connections? You do not need to download it, just click the update link on the WordPress Plugins admin page.

Interesting, what version does WordPress show? If it says 0.7.9.2, that is the latest. Which mean WordPress must have failed to completely install Connections. So, next step, would be to deactivate, delete and reinstall Connections. Let me know if that solves it.

GuestVersion 0.7.1.6
if I deactivate, delete and reinstall, wouldn’t I lose all the entries (member listing) that we have now?10/02/2013 at 8:27 pm #270576Randy Shannon
GuestAll of a sudden the update options appeared – and it worked! Yay! Thanks for your help.

Great to hear! And to answer your question, no, deleting Connections will not make you lose your data. It’s perfectly safe to delete. Actually those are for the most part the manual steps the auto update does.
