ParticipantHi,
I had added the short code to my directory page:
[connections category="1,2,5" image="photo" image_fallback="siteshot"] This way if the Siteshot only displays a 404 error image, I’d like the uploaded image to be displayed only. How can I get it to display an image (whether siteshot or uploaded image)?Example:
http://stage.the-horse.org/horse-directories/name/equine-wellbeing-rescue-inc/Thanks,

Are you referring to the photo being displayed in the bio area?
To adjust those settings:
- Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page.
- Click the Customize button for cMap
- The page will reload with the Customizer on the left an a preview on the right.
- Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer.
- Click the Bio Image panel.
- Set the image type to the preferred option. Based on what you explained, you want to set it to none.
- Publish the changes and exit the Customizer.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi Steven,
I did try your suggestion. Refreshed my browser and I’m still getting 2 images as you can see from the attachment.

- What is the exact shortcode used to embed the directory on the page?
- Has the template been altered in any way?

Sorry, also wanted to ask:
- Have you flushed the endurance page cache after the change?

ParticipantHi Steven,
Here is the shortcode on the directory page:
[connections category="1,2,5" image="photo" image_fallback="siteshot"]I’ve uploaded images for a few of these sites as the image siteshot was giving 404 error pages.
Not sure what the ‘Endurance Page Cache” is, but I did purge the cache to my website.
And no I have not touched the template as I’m not sure where to find it.

RE: Not sure what the ‘Endurance Page Cache” is, but I did purge the cache to my website.
Hmmm… it is something that is running on your site. I’m guessing your web host is Bluehost as it is something they tend to install in WordPress. If you are unsure how to clear its cache, you’ll have to refer to their support team.
RE: image
Create a temp admin account using this plugin:

Reply back, as a private reply, with the login link and I’ll take a look asap.

RE: I just hadn’t heard of Endurance.
On the adminbar, mouseover the Cache item and then click on the Cache Settings link. Scroll to the bottom of the page, The name of the option is Endurance Cache
Also, if you look under the Must-Use plugins on the Plugins admin page, you’ll find the Endurance Page Cache plugin.
Just mentioning this because I think you might find it helpful to know.
RE: image
I took a look, and disabling the Bio Tray Image fixed it. My instructions missed a step. In the Preview, you needed to click on any entry name so the preview would refresh to display the profile view. From there you would set the Image Type to None.
The reason this needs done twice is that both the list view and the profile view can be configured independently giving you a lot of flexibility in the configuration of cMap.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi Steven,
Thank you for letting me know about Endurance cache – I guess I didn’t know it was called that.
For the image, I guess I had only disabled the Bio image on the directory listing and not the individual profile page? This makes sense and I appreciate your quick response.
Thanks again and I really like your directory.
Cheers, Kathy
