ParticipantJust wondering if there is an option or can be one implemented to add an expiry for a listing.
ie, have it show for three months, then revert from public to unlisted once it has expired?
Cheers

Sorry, no, there is not an addon available to set entry expiration dates. Something would have to be custom developed for you. Let me know if you are interested and I can work up a quote.

ParticipantIf we could get a quote please that would be great.
I will pass it on at our next meeting and see what the board think.
The function we need is to set an expiry date for the status to change from approved to unapproved once the date arrives.
Cheers.

I just sent an email with the quote. Let me know if you do not receive it.

GuestIf this functionality is created, will it be publicly available as a paid addon? Cause I would definitely be interested – I am evaluating other directory applications as the expiry is important..

I sent the quote an have not heard back… but yes, I would release such an addon as a paid extension. When I quote prices to develop things like this for Connections, the quote does take this into account. Put another way, the fee is only part of what it costs to develop custom addons if I plan on reselling the completed item.

ParticipantAre you yet planning to release a paid extension for Connections? I’m interested, too.

I never heard back so such an extension was never developed. It is one I do plan on adding at some point but I can not really give an eta. Sorry!!
