ParticipantI’m not sure if this belongs here or in the Linked forum, but …
My directory consists of homeowners. In many cases, the spouses in a house share an email address, which means one ‘user’ but two directory entries. I would like for them to be able to log in with the one email, and edit either of the two user records. I know that currently Linked will pick the first one. How do we allow them to edit the second one?06/24/2015 at 9:46 am #338412Steven Zahm

Sorry, this is not possible. I have some rough code that allows multiple users to be linked to a single entry (by an admin) but not the other way around.

ParticipantI would like to submit this as a request for a new feature, then. I would think it not uncommon for a family to share one userid/email and desire to edit two (or more) entries in the directory.

This is probably more common “older” families rather than “younger” one. My children 3 and 6 have email address that I maintain. They’re practically required anymore because it seems all child sites require an account.
What I think you should do, is add a single entry (not a family) that they will maintain. Nearly all families share the same last name. For the first name, you could simply add both spouses first names. As an an example “John & Jane”.
