I have purchased the Pro Pack and need to renew license. However I am only interested in the Link license at this time, not the whole Pro Pack renewal.
When using the License Renewal on the Link tab I am only getting to purchase the renewal for the whole Pro Pack.

As a quick solution I purchased a new sigle license for Link. The license key is not working with the old Link and I get “Invalid license key”

I am now facing a problem – shall I delete the old version and install the new version with that key?
What will happen with the established user links to Connection?
Can you send me an updated link to the old version?

As a side note I have purchased and installed successfully a license renewal for CSV import.

You can use the new license key with the old installation of Link. Which license key are you trying to use to activate Link the new purchase?

That would be correct. You would have to renew the whole Pro Pack, you can not renew individual items within it. Purchasing a new license was the correct to do.

Well, sometimes it is difficult to express myself correctly, sorry for that.

My old Link version is belonging to the Pro-pack

My new Link version just purchased as a single stand-alone plugin. The license key is invalid for the old Pro-pack version of Link.

As I understand I have to delet the Pro-pack Link plugin and install the new stand-alone Link plugin and apply the license key for that version. Should be no problem – unless the existing Links between user and Connection will be broken.
The links should be persistent, does that mean that a delete and reinstall with the new Link version will keep the links?

Apologies I was not more clear! The new license key should work perfectly well with the version of Link presently installed regardless of version and whether it was purchased as part of the Pro Pack or not. This is why I asked which key you were using when attempting to activate Link. If you can let me know, that would be great. I can look into the activation logs.

To answer your question, yes, you can delete the version of Link you have installed and install the version you just downloaded as part of your new purchase as there is no difference between the two except for the new features and bug fixes in the newer version. Put another way, yes, you current links will be maintained.
