Hi,
I am building a directory of a small organisation of 60 members. When I prepopulated the directory I inputted partial addresses. The Connections app then populated the Latitude and Longitude fields based on that partial information. The maps to the member’s location is then generated on the basis of latitude and longitude.

However, when members edit their directory entries using the FORM/LINK although they go on to enter the full address information, the latitude and longitude fields do not update. The only way to get them to update is to manually delete the auto-generated data from the lat and long field. This should happen automagically…. I think?

When editing the address the lat/long is retained because many users use a custom lat/lng. They do this because the Google Maps Geocoding API is not always accurate and they need to be able to “lock” a specific lat/lng in order to properly place the map pin. So, having these fields auto reset and re-geocode is not possible without breaking the feature for those who need it to function the way it currently functions. I do see you point too, not sure how it could be remediated so it could function to meet you needs to. If you have any ideas, I am open to suggestions.
