ParticipantHi!
I just purchased the slim plus template. The website I’m using it on is entirely in French. Therefore, I would like to know if I’m able to modify the labels and some text to be displayed in French… ex: work email to display Courriel, Biography to Biographie…Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please see this FAQ on how to use the str_***** shortcode options for Slim Plus. Using these you can translate the template specific strings into French. You can find all the str_***** shortcode options listed on this page. They are all grouped together toward the end of the list of options.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantSo I figured out how to change the labels. Everything worked great until today, where I got this message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘auteur’ (T_STRING) in /home/hippie1975/public_html/wp-content/plugins/connections-slim-plus/slim-plus.php on line 171
Now the template deactivates itself and nothing works. I removed it from my host site to reinstall it, but still not working…

Well, that is a bit odd.
My suggestion. Remove the str shortcode option from the shortcode and reactivate the template. I suppose somehow one of the translated strings is causes this. So removing them and adding them one at a time will allow you to identify exactly which string. After you isolate the string let me know which one and what the exact string you are using. I need this so I can duplicate the error.
Hope that helps! Let me know what you find.
ps. I recommend starting with the str_image option since that is being used on the line of code the error is reporting.
