ParticipantHello Steve,
I am loving Connections more by the day, but I wondered whether it would be very troublesome to make template layouts drag-and-drop, within reason.
In the case of cMap, I am thinking specifically of the order of appearance of the elements, like the search box, Categories drop-down selector and the Categories image grid.
For those with large numbers of Categories it may make more sense to have the selector at the top, while those with just a few Parent categories the grid is probably the better element to have at the top of their page. The same applies to the View and Submit menu. Personally I wouldn’t mind having the option of putting this in a widget instead, like the Profile, Login Form widget.
The other thing I had mentioned, after trying your awesome Multiple Category plugin, is whether this would not make an awesome widget. I would happily buy it as a stand-alone, but on future you could include it in the Widget pack, (increasing the price accordingly). The only thing is that it may need to be a little more flexible – at present it doesn’t appear to offer the option of filtering by City, District etc… Maybe if users could select the fields to include? … again, within reason.
Many thanks for your time and kind attention.
Best regards.
PS I attach a mock-up, for illustration.
This is just a thought, you understand, not pestering… 😉
Cheers me dear!
Toni
