This redirect is not being done by Connections. Another plug or perhaps a setting in the theme has been set to apply this redirect. You’ll have to scour the various settings pages to find where the redirect is set and turn it off.I hope this helps!

ParticipantIs there any reason the [connections_form] shortcode would not show the users data when logged in? It isn’t.

The shortcode is deprecated/undocumented left only to support backwards compatibility when the only purpose of Form was to take entry submissions from site visitors whether or not they were a user. I’m assuming you found it in the support forums or a may have reveal it to as an answer to another question???
In any case, the shortcode does not care if a user is logged in or not, nor will it populate with a user’s info if the logged in user has a linked entry.
There is a dedicated page within Connections which uses Form to do this function when installed. Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab. Follow the instructions Link configuration instruction for adding the view and edit entry actions.
If you need to link to this page from other places on you site, you have several options available. Use the Link shortcodes to add the links. You can add them to your site’s navigation.. Or you can use the Login extension which has integrated support for displaying the add/view/edit links it its widget if Form/Link are installed.
I hope I have answered your question thoroughly.
