GuestHello I just downloaded the connections plugin v 8.3.3. I am using WP 4.2.2 i am using the default theme. I have the logo set to display but it does show on the website. only the image shows not the logo not matter what combination i have tried, from display to not dispaly to organization to individual.
I also cannot get the dropdown of the categories at the top of the directory listThank you,

GuestHi. I am having the very same issues–both the logo not appearing when the image is uploaded to the appropriate place and also unable to get the categories drop down. I was starting to think it was because I had not purchased the cMAP template and am only using the free version. However, I just downloaded the free version today and wanted to make sure it was going to handle nicely before purchasing the upgrade. According to the default templates of the free version, it appears I should be able to do both but I can’t seem to figure it out.
Thanks for your help!

Keymaster@ daniel, Gina
The user search category drop down is currently a feature reserved for the premium sold here. Presently, the free templates only show the photo, not the logo.
That said… this Friday, if I get it done, there is another update for Connections planned. It is a rather significant update too. The big new feature is integration with the WordPress Customizer to configure the templates (point and click with real time preview of the changes). Most of the free templates will be retired and removed since they will no longer be relevant due to the template customizer. The important bit and why I bring this up is one of the many options you’ll be able to configure in the free default template is whether the photo is shown or the logo is shown.
I hope that clearly answers both your questions.
