GuestIs there a way to display the individual listing pages as open using the slim plus template?
Here’s our directory:
http://www.centre.edu/directory/
And here’s an individual listing:
http://www.centre.edu/directory/name/david-abney/
I’ve tried setting the default template to a different one and specifying the slim plus for the collected directory only in shortcode. It seems that it will ignore the default and use whatever template the collected directory uses for the individual listings as well.
We really need the accordions on the main directory, but would like the individual listing pages to be opened, rather than needing to click a single accordion to view the info.
Any ideas?

Yes, sort of, this is possible… First, remove the template shortcode override from the shortcode as that will override all settings. After you have done that… Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and enable the Single Entry Template option under the Display tab. Now go to the Connections : Templates admin page. Under the
All
template type make sure Slim Plus is the active template. Finally under both theIndividual
andOrganization
template types, activate the Bio Entry Card template. Now when you visit an individual entry, it display using the Bio Entry Card rather than the Slim Plus template.Hope that makes sense and helps!
If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!

ParticipantHello Steve, I did try this, but where can I click to view a single entry?
Is it possible to use the contact plugin with this setting? And, can I use the cmap Template instead of the Bio Entry Card template?Thanx

In Ryan’s, using an pretty old version of Connections and Slim Plus this worked. The only solution would to be to delete both the
slim-plus.js
andslim-plus.min.js
files from this folder:
../wp-content/plugins/connections-slim-plus/
But if you do, Slim Plus will not longer be slim, every entry will stay open. That is because the files that were deleted closed them. But the names will now be clickable, allowing you to get to the single entry view.
Yes, you could use the cMap template instead of the Bio Entry Card.
Hope that helps!
