I would like to increase the column width of the text. I don’t see a way to do this with shortcodes however I’m wondering if this is possible some other way (see attached to explain more)
Yes, but you’ll have to edit the template.php found here:
It’ll be line 9 that you have to edit. You see the width remove everything in-between and including the <? ?> and set the width that you want. 195 seems to work.
Excellent! Thanks Steven. That worked a treat!
My file structure doesn’t seem to match this.
There isn’t a connections_templates directory. There also isn’t a template.php file.
The only available file is tile-plus.php. The only width adjustments I see in there are for card_width and image_width. I have adjusted the card width by shortcode and now would like to adjust the column width for email addresses.
These instructions were for the 2.0.x version of Tile Plus. For version 3.0.X open the
card.php file found here:
You’ll want to edit line 26:
<div style="display: inline-block; width: <?php echo ( ( $atts['card_width'] - 20 ) / 2 ); ?>px;">
<div style="display: inline-block; width: <?php echo ( ( $atts['card_width'] - $atts['image_width'] ) + 20 ); ?>px;">
Let me know if that helps.
