Tagged: 8.1.5, csv import
Hello Steven, I recently imported over 500 contacts in a new base and I wanted to have all of them recorded as Organisations. But most of them contained a name and thus were seen as Individuals. In the last step of the import, I luckily could change manually Ind. to Org. BUT I had to click about 400 times ! Very tedious. So I do request a feature to choose to import Org. or Ind. for all records.
Thanks in advance
@ Olivier
To summarize my reply here…
Sounds like you are using an old version of the import. The entry type can be forced to an org, but first and last names will be discarded because and org can not have a first and last name … they have a contact name.
I hope my other reply helps you in the future!
