Could I get a copy of the CSV file and a temp admin account so I can take a close look? A screenshot of he mapping would be very helpful too.

ParticipantDon’t know what happened to last nights post so I will try again. Here is the corrected CSV file. I need an email address to set up an temp log-in for the WP site. What should I use for you?

I see you have an ID column … are you, by chance mapping that to the Entry ID field? It sounds as if you are importing this for the first time, is that correct? If that is the case, you can not map to the Entry ID field because those entry ID/s do not exists. The ID/s will have to match those that are created by the WP data base after the CSV is imported. If you are mapping it to the Entry ID field… the importer will open the ID and attempt to up that entry with the new data and since that entry ID does not exist, it can not be updated.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantOk then if that’s the case why is that even a mapping option. So I have to create a custom field for the chambers ID number field?

re: why is that even a mapping option.
One can map to the Entry ID column to use a CSV file to update preexisting entries. The entry ID column would have to be populated to the actual entry ID in Connections as shown on the Connections : Manage admin page. This feature was developed and released because it was one of the highest requested features for the CSV Imported.re: So I have to create a custom field for the chambers ID number field?
Yes, or, use another field that you will not be utilizing and use the Say What plugin to change the field label.Hope that clears that up better.
