ParticipantHi Steve. This is a new one. I just started a new website and am using Connections. The images are not showing up on either the “manage” screen or the “edit entry” screen. Has this been an issue for anyone else? The images show up fine on the website as expected, but I’d certainly like to see them appear in the backend as well. Any idea?
I am attaching a screenshot of the manage page.
Thanks!

Not showing in the admin but showing on the frontend is a new one indeed. What’s the link to the working frontend page? Can I get access to your new site’s admin, as an admin temporarily?

ParticipantI have it set to private while under development but I could give you temp admin access. Give me a bit – I’ll get back to you.

Ok, let me know … send the details via the contact link at the bottom of the page. In the message, paste a link to this forum thread so I can relate the two. Thanks!

Ok, I took a look. It seems there is a small, but important, the image src uses http so when loaded over https, the browser will block it.
I believe I identified the fix. I was going to apply the fix to your site but my login has already been removed??? If my login is restored, I’ll apply this fix for you.

ParticipantSTeve, I am so sorry! I had to leave for the day and hadn’t heard from you, so I had to remove your account because I won’t be around from tomorrow for the rest of the week. But I will restore your account now and remove it again before I turn in for the night, in a few hours. If you don’t have time to get to it, I understand.

Ok, I applied the hotfix and it all seems good now. This will be in the upcoming 8.1.6 bug fix release so you should be able to update without issue.

Thanks glad to help, sorry about the trouble!
I’m sure I’ve probably already asked but if I haven’t and you have a free moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
