ParticipantWhat is GD? And, will it fix itself? Also, I may just move to a different host. This backend and all the hoops i’m going through with him are too time-consuming.

GD is a server level app (lets call it an app) for image editing such as scaling and cropping.
The images for Connections are uploading just fine, they just can not be scaled and cropped. Same for WordPress. All the previous server move WordPress images are already scaled which is why you do not have further issues with WordPress itself … not sure what would happen if WP actually needed one of the scaled images it creates when updating an image. My guess, a blank spot.
I can recommend a host, SiteGround. I suggest their GoGeek plan:
http://www.siteground.com/wordpress-hosting.htmAnd then for caching, instead of W3TC, use WP Rocket. It’s supported by SiteGround and there’s 20% off deal for SiteGround users:
http://blog.siteground.com/wp-rocket/Disclaimer, I use them as my host and recommend them based on my experience with them. If you do decide to use them, here’s my referral link:
http://www.siteground.com/recommended?referrer_id=6996159I’ll get a few months free if you do :)
Even if I did not get that perk, I would still recommend them.
Hope that helps!

Anyway, it’s fixed! You are good.I’ll use your link for sure if I go with them.
