I am relatively new to php, and wordpress as a whole, however I love your plugin so far. I just need to make it work for my needs.
I am building a directory of businesses that are members of our organization. The organization wants the following information in every entry:
Domestic Branch Locations:
International Branch Locations:
Board of Executives (with titles):
Products / services / rental equipment offered.
This is a monumentous task for me. If I could change the “Show Bio” to read “Domestic Branches” and the “Show Notes” to read “International Branches” and Add an additional drop down for “Executives”, and yet another dropdown called “Products and Services” This would totally fix everything for me.
I can organize the companies by category, but there are so many sub categories it makes life difficult. Anyway – Is all this possible? What do I need to purchase or do?
Thanks so much in advance.
Changing the string is rather simple to do, check out this FAQ on the str_***** shortcode options that cMap enables. Here’s the link to the page that has all the str_***** shortcode options and much more for cMap.
Now, for the drop downs … yes, that is possible, but how really depends on the exact goals but in either case it would be rather complex and not simple to do if you’re new to PHP. Due to this complexity, it is not really something I can walk you thru either, sorry.
I hope this helps, even if a little.
