ParticipantI am looking for a Templet that will…
- Show the cool social media links
- Has a category list
- Allows for search
- Show a limited text info then click to get more info
- can be publicly access off the web
- Will include people and businesses names
- Sort the list by different criteria
This is for graduates of our Social Media Management class and I just bought the full package thinking one of the Templets would have all of this but can not find it. If the default one allows you to click for a more detailed page, have category list and search (keeping the social media links) it would be exactly what I want. Any suggestions?

It sounds like any of these fit the bill, choose the design you like best:
- Circled (you’ll need to enable the category drop down and search since they are disabled by default, see the doc page.)
- cMap
- Excerpt Plus (by default it only shows the bio, but the rest of the info can be re-enabled, see the doc page also see this FAQ.)
- Gridder (you’ll need to enable the category drop down and search since they are disabled by default, see the doc page.)
The last bullet point; “Sort the list by different criteria“, there is not an option in any of the templates to allow for the user to change the sort order.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThanks so much Steven for replying. I will look into it. I think the key here is the category drop down and will check for that.

ParticipantYou mentioned ““Sort the list by different criteria“, there is not an option in any of the templates to allow for the user to change the sort order.”
Would you consider adding this as a feature to one of them in the future.
Thanks!

ParticipantHere is my link and I want the social media links to show with the name. I am sure I am missing something obvious.

ParticipantI added this short code, but the social media does not show:
[connections link=true enable_bio_head=true enable_note=true enable_note_head=true show_title=true show_org=true show_contact_name=true show_family=true show_addresses=true show_phone_numbers=true show_email=true show_im=true show_social_media=true show_dates=true show_links=true]

This is on the list, but is lower priority due to is seldomly being requested.

I visited the site… It appears you are using the Single Entry template option so the read more link for the entry profile page is being displayed using the Default Entry Card template. Is that what you want?

GuestSteven Zahm. I am not sure about “Single Entry templet option” I just know I want to list people that graduated from our Social Media class, include how to reach them by phone or social media and be able to search/categories. Here is what I want it to do and welcome your input on how to get as close as possible with your paid produced. I purchased the full thing.

Based on your list, seems like you want Circled or Gridder.
Not really sure what you meant by this though; “can be publicly access off the web“.
As mention, there is no, user sorting, so “Sort the list by different criteria” feature will not exist in any of the templates or extensions.
Hope that helps!
