ParticipantHi
Please can you help me. We have the widget pack on our site and use it to bring in a sidebar menu with the categories on all directory pages.
We have just installed our secure certificate and have lost the links from the sidebar menu to categories.
The link was: http://www.janetfillingham.com/all-clients/clients-all/clients-all/childrens-writers/
The link is now: https://www.janetfillingham.comall-clients/clients-all/clients-all/childrens-writers/
Please could you advise how best to keep the / in the middle.
Thank you

If you have manually set the home or site constants such as WP_HOME or WP_SITEURL in the wp-config file, confirm they are set correctly. If you only configured them in the WP Settings admin page, make sure they are set correctly. I suspect one of them you are missing the trailing slash.
Hope that helps, let me know.

ParticipantThank you for your reply Steven. However, as all the other links are working well with their trailing slash it looks like it is local to the connections widget.
Please could you help with this. Many thanks

RE: Please could you help with this.
I am… have you reviewed your settings as suggested? That is the first step, making sure they are indeed correct.
The widget is not the only issue I see. The entire “Clients” menu is also missing that slash with an extra
all-clients
in the address. Those appear to be custom Menu Links. If they are, you will need to correct those links on the WordPress Menus admin page.In regards to the widget. After the settings have been confirmed, please try adding a category and the deleting it. The widget is cached to keep load times minimal. So, it might be possible the widget was cached while the links were incorrect.
Hope that helps, let me know.

I took another look. It seems you;’ve got the menu links fixed. Can you drop the category widget back in the sidebar?

ParticipantHi steven, I did a total site reload and have managed to get it right now. It is tricky and I need to do it again with another site in the next week. I am taking your sticking widget as my first way to correct it this time. Could you also please tell me how to upgrade my connections widget plugin as it says on my dashboard it is not updatable.
Many thanks

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Licenses tab. Activate your support license key. If you have the license key activated on another site, for example, your dev site, then you must first deactivate the license on that site. If you no longer have access to the dev site, please see License Activated on Another Site section in this FAQ.
Hope that helps!
