Hi Steven. We’re using your directory for a new winery association website (http://scmwa.com). So far we’ve managed to et it works wonderfully. Today I had an inquiry from a member who used our native site search function to try to locate their listing to no avail. Have you seen this before? How are people getting the listings to show up in search results? Any guidance here would be most appreciated. Josh.
I would like to apologize for my delay in my reply as I was not receiving my notices for new support forum posts for about a week. Just reply notices to ones that were already started which is why I’m just now noticing.
It looks like it working fine. I just tested with a random partial name:
Are you asking about using the WordPress native search up at the very top of your site? If that is the case, no, Connections entries will not be returned as results.
No worries Steve. Your support has been great. I did more research and discovered as you pointed out that there are 2 different searches – one specific to Connections, the other standard WordPress Search. Obviously it would be better if they were the same, but we can live with the one on each page.
Thanks for checking back.
