Is there a way to change the category for all entries at once, instead of having to open every entry separate?
And, why do I see the longitude and latitude?!?!?
Also, why does it say ‘other’ at the top of my card?
Sorry, but there is no bulk category editing.
I looked at the page, I do not see any entries with “Other” on them? Was that perhaps the address type that now says “Work”?
Sorry, forgot … I also do not see the lat/long. Those should be shown by default. Since I don’t see it on your page I’m assuming you’ve resolved the issue, yes?
thanks. great program/plugin.
Would be great to be able to assign categories before upload of CSV at some point. Any chance that might be a feature in an upgrade?
You can assign categories in the CSV so they are created and assigned during the importing of a CSV file. Here’s the related FAQ.
Do you mean just importing categories? You can do that too, though, not exactly straight forward.
Create a CSV with three columns; first name, last name, category.
You only need to add a single row.
Add a bogus first and last name.
In the category column, add all you categories separated by commas.
Import the CSV and then delete the bogus entry. You’ll be left with just the imported categories.
Hope that helps.
