ParticipantHi, is it possible to hide certain categories from the Form? We’re thinking of managing our database through Connections, and hiding it on the Form, plus hiding certain categories from the main display list ( [connections] ) would let us have categories that our members wouldn’t see.
I would think that the visibility of a category could be managed from the Categories section, as opposed to the add-on level. Or, I guess it could be selected from both, in order to have different views within different add-ons.
Also, noticed on Form that one can’t make a field (ie, address) “Private”, even though there’s a visibility section. It’s basically stuck on “Public”, without the option to “undo” that selection.
Thanks for a great plugin!!

Sorry, not, not really. The only way this would be possible right now is to edit the PHP file for Form.

Right. The user can only select the visibility options to which they have permissions (capabilities) to see. If they were to set a phone number to private but not have the permission to view it, they would also not have the permission to edit it. It is a deficiency in the permissions that was grafted on top of the core plugin that I have not yet come up with a decent way to fix.
Hope that helps!
