ParticipantWe are building up a Directory from scratch and in the end there will be about 300 persons in the Directory.
I have a CSV file with many entries of individuals with fields name, adress city filled in but is lacking e-mail adress.
We will invite these individuals to register as User to the website using a Registration plugin. When registering several extended mandatory fields are created. You will find e-mail adress among them. (BuddyPress+Bbpress+BPregistration plugins)
Next step after moderation of the registration each individual should be linked to their Connections Business Directory and their Registration fields input should be carried over to the Directory. After that “View my directory” and “Edit my directory” should be available for the User after Login. The idea is to have a Directory that can be edited by a User interactively.
As the Directory is lacking e-mail adress from the beginning, is there a way to have a search option and then manually link Registration entry to Directory entry.
Another way of doing this may be using CSV files and manually merge Registration and Directory entries via export/import. Will the link be created then?
I have Connections, Form, Link and Login plugins activated.
I hope that you will be able to guide me.

Keymaster@ Erik
Since you are moderating registrations, I think this becomes somewhat easy. The user will have to register with an email address. Right after you approve their user registration, copy the email address the used to register. Next locate their entry in the Connections directory (search by name) and edit their entry to include the email address the user registered with. The next time the user is on the site, their user account will be linked to their directory entry.
Hope that helps!
