ParticipantHi,
I installed the plugin and the photos look different than the demo. They’re rectangles – http://societyofwe.com/member-directory/
How do I change them to be more square and not cut off the faces.
I tried a bunch of ways and nothing worked.
Thanks in advance.11/08/2017 at 1:31 pm #440551Steven Zahm

The issue is that the theme is overriding a Gridder style. Add the following to the theme’s custom CSS area:
#cn-gridder span.title { height: auto; }Hope this helps, let me know!

ParticipantI did what you said.
I went into Appearance -> Editor -> custom_css.php
and pasted this:
“<?php
$root = dirname(dirname(dirname(dirname(dirname(FILE)))));
if ( file_exists( $root.’/wp-load.php’ ) ) {
require_once( $root.’/wp-load.php’ );
// require_once( $root.’/wp-config.php’ );
} else {
$root = dirname(dirname(dirname(dirname(dirname(dirname(FILE))))));
if ( file_exists( $root.’/wp-load.php’ ) ) {
require_once( $root.’/wp-load.php’ );
// require_once( $root.’/wp-config.php’ );
}
}
header(“Content-type: text/css; charset=utf-8”);?>
<?php echo $qode_options_proya[‘custom_css’];
cn-gridder span.title {
height: auto;}
?>
<?php echo $qode_options_proya[‘custom_svg_css’]; ?>Unfortunately, I have squares, but half of the image is covered and I want to have more of the square image viewable (see attached image)
Page: http://societyofwe.com/directory/Advice how to show more of the image?

RE: I went into Appearance -> Editor -> custom_css.php
No, you should not edit the theme files. I highly recommend you revert that change. Go to the theme options. Most theme’s have a spot for you to enter custom CSS without having to edit files. A quick Google search says it should be on Qode Options > General > Custom theme options page.
After you apply the CSS the images should display properly.
Hope that helps, let me know.
