Hopefully a quick question regarding FULLTEXT search. I am only searching on Family Name, First Name, Middle Name and Last Name.
If I enter John Smith into the search box I get back John Smith’s contact details. If I enter John Smi I get no results. I assume this is because the search query is doing an absolute query and not allowing any wildcards. So my question is there anyway around this or do I have to enable “Keyword Search” which although is good when searching on whole name brings back many many results. The system is used by the telephone receptionist so the least results the quicker they can forward calls.
As usual, thanks for any help!
