ParticipantI bought this extension as an Admin I would like Front end editing as stated in the Form description:
Are you the directory admin? Then the newly added front-end editing
support in version 2.0 of Form is just what you need … no more having
to visit the admin to make a quick edit to entry.I cannot figure out how to enable this.

re: I cannot figure out how to enable this.
There is nothing to enable…
First, you do have the latest Form installed, yes?
If you do, go to your directory page.
Click an entry name so the page loads the profile detail view for the entry.
Above the entry you will see a link for “Edit” entry. Clicking this link will allow you to edit the entry.
Hope that helps. Let me know.

ParticipantYes I have Forms installed
I can now enter New entries in the front end which is good (though there doesn’t seem to be a way to enter Custom fields in the front end)
When I click on the detail profile view I don’t see any link for Edit entry. I changed to another theme (2015) and it’s not there so I don’t think it is theme related.I’ll put up a test site with the minimum plugins and come back to you later.

re: though there doesn’t seem to be a way to enter Custom fields in the front end
This is an admin level feature that would not be exposed to uses so it is not supported by Form

If you share a link and a temp admin login, I’ll take a look.

Can be posted here as a private reply. As for creating the account, you can use any dummy email account. Generally I just mash a few keys, add an
@, mash a few more keys and add.trash.11/04/2015 at 12:40 am #353403Alan Teh

Oh, I see, you didn’t mention using the Slim Plus template. This template does not have a link to the entry profile page so you’ll never see the edit link that exists on it. I modded the template to show the link under the image. You should be good to go now.
