ParticipantGday Steve !
Brent from Australia here. Hope things are going well for you.
I installed your connections plugin back on my website last year
back at the time the plugin ” form ” was not completed.
I finally got around to downloading an updated copy today and attempted to activate this plugin.
As soon as a attempted to activated it the entire website crashed. No front end and no ability to login as an admin. This is was a bit of spooky feeling for a newbie but old google suggested I dial into the ftp delete the form plguin folder. This worked a treat and got my website back up and running.
I deleted the folder tried an ftp upload of the plugin and the same error occurred.
The only way to resolve the problem and allow my website to be up again was to dial into the ftp acess and delete the form folder from my list of plugins.
Do you have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem from here ?
kind regards

Looks like you’re running Connections 0.7.9.3, Connections 0.8.9 or newer is required. Likely that is the reason for the crash. There have been many significant changes to Connections many of which Form 2.0 requires to work. Please update and then install and activate Form. That should resolve the issue.
Hope that helps!
