ParticipantHello, I set in the directory lang the fr translation /wp-content/plugins/connections/lang/connections-fr_FR.mo
most of the strings where translated, so then, I translated from the .pot file the in the following directory /wp-content/plugins/connections-link/submenus/ and save and put the connections_link-fr_FR.mo file in the submenu dir as the .pot but nothing concerning link is translated.
I decided to write the translation directly inside the .php files at my own risk and will be obliged to do it again after the next upgrade. Have you a solution to this issue ?
I tried also to put the strings in the main pot file with ../connections-link/ at the begining of the definition but PoEdit said there is an error due to initial path… I’m affraid all the other side components [connections-form, connections-widgets, etc] I own will not be translated.

I did not include a POT file for Connections Link, one will be included in the next update. However, you can create your own by following these instructions.
You should save the POT file as connections_link.pot in the lang folder, not the submenus folder.
After you create the POT file you can use that with Poedit to create the PO/MO files which has to be named connections_link-fr_FR.po and connections_link-fr_FR.mo.
The Widget Pack already has a POT file that you can use to translate. You can use Poedit to create the PO/MO files which has to be named connections_widgets-fr_FR.po and connections_widgets-fr_FR.mo.
I hope that helps.
