    Hi,

    If you look at the following page, where is the “fax” string translated?

    http://dev.en-groupe.ca/repertoire/entreprise/cbdc-madawaska-inc/

    I have modified the Work fax string in the Plugins/Connections Business Directory /connections-fr_FR.mo translation file, but it only update the related string in the edit profile page.

    Can you help?

    Sounds like you may have activated Connections while the site was in English…

    Navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Fieldset Configuration tab.

    Scroll down to the Address Types options.

    Change the labels as desired.

    Save the changes.

    Hi,

    You probably meant Phone Types… I tried it but nothing changed on the View profile page. For your information, all other strings are translated well on the page, only the “fax” one is not working.

    Is there anything else I can try?

    Have you install the Say What plugin and change the string that way?

    What is the exact shortcode in use on the page? Are you perhaps using the shortcode option to change the label?
