I have Form extension installed on my website, I noticed that no new submission email is sent to the the DB admin, However the new subscriber receives notice of receipt email.
I installed the “WP mail log” plugin to track the problem as suggested in another support topic, and I found that no records for any emails related to the connection plugin even the notice of receipt emails which is being sent.
I made sure that the admin is not logged in and the new submission is still waiting for approval. How can this be fixed.10/24/2017 at 1:43 pm #438677Steven ZahmKeymaster

RE: I installed the “WP mail log” plugin
Which “WP mail log” exactly? Connections is only compatible with a few. I suggest reviewing the logs on the Connections : Tools admin page.
Things to double check:
- Ensure the “Submission Notice” option is enabled.
- Ensure the “Submission Notice To” email address is correct.
- Check the recipient email address inbox junk/spam folder.
- Try an alternative email address, especially if you are using the Gmail alias inbox features.
Hope this helps, let me know what you learn.10/24/2017 at 2:41 pm #438685Mahmoud TawfikGuest
I found the emails record in the logs tab as instructed above. Most of the notice emails sent status are failed, but few of them are Successfully sent.10/24/2017 at 3:03 pm #438687Steven ZahmKeymaster

Ok, it is good that they are being logged, but, for some reason, WordPress is failing to send them and reporting the failed status. This can happen for a variety of reasons outside the control of WordPress and Connections. I suggest using the Post SMTP Mailer/Email Log plugin to test and debug why these are failing.
