GuestHi, I am looking to redo our chamber website and move it from Joomla to WP. The biggest need is to have a way to manage chamber members (and their renewals or expiration which vary depending upon when they joined). In our file we have active and inactive members on file. I was able to export the member list, which includes usernames, passwords, registration date, etc. When I went to import into the Connections, there are only 4 fields. There are more fields in the CSV plugin I see, but I don’t see such things as registration/renewal fields. Also, our business members have pictures and descriptions of their businesses, etc. and we have arranged them by categories. However, when I did the import and used Name for their name, every single business became a new category in the category tab… !
Wondering if your plugin is capable of doing all that we might require?

What you need is a plugin like Restrict Content Pro to manage membership renewals/expiration.

The import tool you’re using is for importing categories into Connections. To import entries (listings) you need the CSV Import extension.

I would use a membership plugin to manage the member registration/renewal/expiration. The CSV Import to import your listing with the Link extension to allow you members to edit their entry. The one missing piece is when a membership expires, the admin would have to delist the entry.
Hope this helps!
