ParticipantI have a client currently using this plugin and here are the questions they have. I haven’t found the answer through looking around.
- Is it possible to have a landing page of sorts, that just shows categories and a search function. We don’t want the beginning of the list to always be featured when someone lands on this page…not fair to other business partner members.
- We would like to at some point have that landing page feature partners who have paid for a spot light feature (featured listings)…where they actually pay to be featured on that page for a certain period time.
If these features aren’t available, let me know. They have another directory they have found but I like this one so I am doing what I can to keep them here.

You could use the Enhance Categories extension. It does have a shortcode which can be used to place it on a separate page. You configure it so it does not display above the directory and then use its
home_id
option to set the page ID of the directory so the links resolve correctly. If you choose this route, you should disable the category filter on the cMap template. For search, you could use the Search widget from the Widget Pack. The Widget Pack adds a feature which make it so you can use the included widgets as shortcodes.
So, you could add that above the Enhance categories shortcode.
Hope this has thoroughly answered your questions!

ParticipantHow about Featured Listings?

Perhaps the Widget Pack is the solution too? Create a category for featured. The use the Entry List widget to list on the featured entry category.
The limiting fact would be the widget only displays minimal info such as the name and logo (or photo).
