ParticipantI have made some modifications to various php files in the includes directory of the connections plugin. Most everything is working fine but editing an entry gets me this message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method cnRetrieve::dates() in /home/content/76/8547476/html/riviera-nayarit-directory/wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/class.entry.php on line 2936Any suggestions where to look for the error?
You can add an entry here or try editing one that already exists (User: AV Password:AV) here:

The error message is saying where to look for the error. The cause of the error is in this file:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/class.entry.php
On line: 2936
It’s calling the function dates() which should be in this file:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/class.retrieve.php
Why are you getting this error, sorry, I do not know. Did you by chance change or remove the dates() function? Thats where I would look first.

ParticipantThanks Steven…. it is indeed missing in Class cnRetrieve. Looks like I forgot to update that whole file with the upgrade.

No problem, glad to help. Question, if I may? What do your changes accomplish?

ParticipantThe main changes integrate Open Street Map because our area in Mexico is not well documented on Google maps i.e. lots of errors and missing streets. If you visit the link above you will see that a connections entry can be located on a map and the latitude and longitude is saved. Templates have been modified to show an interactive map with pointers to entries. Look at this map for example: http://map-mapa.com/riviera-nayarit-directory/restaurant-ma/
The other main change allow entries to be prioritized in listings so paying advertisers appear first like yellow page directories.

ParticipantThere are also some tools for other folks who may like to use Open Street Map. You can read about them here: http://map-mapa.com/map-tools/
