ParticipantI was wondering how we can get the permalink that is shared via a facebook share in a record to be ‘prettier’ more like those that are made in standard wp posts. By way of example, there are two images attached. 1) is the share from a connections record the other from a standard post on the page. Is there a way to get the record ‘bio’ info to show as the excerpt? The record image/logo works great, but the excerpt and the link could use some help.
Any guidance?
Thanks!

I could have sworn when I was testing, it brought in the correct info. The best I can do is log this as an issue for now and come back to it. Knee deep in trying to polish off the custom meta API.

ParticipantI wanted to jump back into this. I updated to 3.1 and cleaned up some stuff. So now, when I am on a single company view page (clicked open from the listing), the facebook og:image seems to pull properly, and the link – while it SAYS the main website name – does actually go to the proper specific Connx entry page, but the og: description is that of the connections ‘homepage’ itself, NOT of the description that is placed in the Bio of the specific listing entry.
Am I forgetting how to get that info from the Bio to be the og: description?
Thanks.

Sorry, looking into this is still on the todo list … I know without looking the tricky part will be if the Facebook plugin provides the proper filters for me to hook into to update the social graph meta tags. If it doesn’t … then it gets kind of hacky.
