ParticipantI’m having a strange issue with Gridder. Each time I click to show a bio, my page jumps to the top of the screen – rather than expanding the bio in place. So, I then have to scroll the page back down to where the bio was expanded.
Any thoughts? Is there a setting somewhere that I might be missing.
Thanks!

The primary reason this would occur is if there is a fatal javascript error. The source of the error would very likely be the theme or another plugin. You can view the javascript errors by loading the page in Chrome, hitting the F12 key and then clicking the Console tab.
The file name, and/or file path of the the file causing the error just about always indicates the source of the error.
Without a link to the page with the issue the is the best answer I can give you. If you share the link to the page, I’ll take a look.

My reply to Adrienne applies to you too… however the only page that I’m aware for you directory is here:
http://www.abhunting.com/hunting-outfitters/index.php/black-bear-hunting-alberta-canada/
And this page is working like it should.

I just tried to access the page. The password in invalid. Since you have no javascript errors, then I suspect that the theme is missing the wp_footer() template tag in the
footer.phpfile.06/11/2015 at 3:32 pm #337107Adrienne
ParticipantI just reset the password – can you try it again? I did confirm that the wp_footer() is in the footer file.
Thanks!

I see, something with the theme (likely) is throwing off the scroll to function in the template. If you can give me temp admin access, I’d like to debug further.

Ok, it was definitely the scroll to item somehow being broken. The best I can tell thru debugging it was scrolling to the
bodytag in the HTML rather than to the Gridder item clicked. My guess is the theme’s HTML is “broken”, causing javascript to “think” the item clicked was the body. I edited the template’s javascript file to remove that function call and it is fine now. -
